Vehicle Description
Few things in the automotive world have remained consistent for 75 years. In spirit, purpose and to an extent execution, the bloodline of the Jeep Wrangler has done so. When Jeep decided to build a four door Wrangler, everybody was excited about its potential. Also, its stretched wheelbase made the interior more people and cargo friendly. With four doors, you can bring plenty of company out into the wilderness and you won't lack for amenities.
3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, automatic transmission with overdrive. Leather wrapped four spoke tilt steering wheel, with a short cruise control stalk that's out of the way on the right side, instruments compass and temperature gauges are easy to read and the controls are soothingly simple, 3.5" vehicle info centre, temp and compass gauges. Comfortable high back front heated cloth seats, using a handsome stain resistant black. Between the seats are the shift lever and short four wheel drive lever, two cupholders and emergency brake and a console that's wide and deep, locking glove box is about one third larger than before and there's a convenient grab handle above it, full lenegth floor console. Power windows, power door locks, dual power heated mirrors, ice cold ac and heat, auto dimming rearview mirror. Factory 6.5" touch screen seek-scan Am/Fm/Eq/Aux/MP3/CD six speaker sound system with GPS Navigation stereo, hands free with Bluetooth streaming, 12 volt auxiliary power outlet, 86.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seat folded flat (the headrests flip back, so they don't need to be removed). Soft top is improved for easier removal and installation. The Sunrider soft top slides back half way, like a huge sunroof over the front seats. The optional three piece modular hardtop (black freedom hard top) has two front panels that easily pop on and off like a T-top, and are stored behind the rear seat. The third panel over the rear seat can be removed separately and stored in the garage. The Freedom Top yields a total of six open air possibilities. Under the body, there's a new boxed frame that's 100 percent stiffer in bending and 50 percent stiffer in twisting, with seven cross members. Wide spaced frame rails cradle the fuel tank between the wheels. Three skid plates protect the fuel tank, transfer case and automatic transmission oil pan. Front tow hooks, four wheel disc brakes with ABS, Dana 44 rear axle. Factory remote start with unlock/alarm, deep tinted windows, tubular side steps, fog lights, remote keyless entry with lock/alarm. Traction control, Hill start assist, Hill descert control, Tip start, Trailer sway control. Factory painted alloy wheels with plenty of trend on the tires, tire pressure system, full size spare. The Jeep Wrangler is a highly capable trail vehicle. It will get you over the rocks and through the muck, but it won't make you regret its durable construction when you're cruising the Interstate. It's smooth and quiet on the road and there's plenty of room for family and friends.
